TTOTA recently held a fundraising bar-b-que, in the heart of Port of Spain. The bar-b-que was a real success, with association members selling tickets for weeks in advance, to anyone and everyone who crossed our paths! Thankfully we sold every bar-b-que, so nothing went to waste, and our target was exceeded, which was a real bonus!
In addition to supporting our awareness projects such as the Education Forum, the proceeds from the bar-b-que allowed association members to participate in a team building retreat. During the retreat members got to know one another better as individuals and as a group examined TTOTA strengths, challenges and goals for the road ahead. Everyone got to make invaluable input and we are a stronger team as result of the exercise.
